One thing that people have reportedly had issues with in the past is removing their eyelash extensions properly. We are excited to show people how to use lash remover, how to remove eyelash glue, and generally the best way to go about the process.
This is an essential skill to master as you want to ensure that you protect your eyes. The eyes, as we know, are very sensitive. Worry not though, we have the best practices to protect them properly! At Method Lash, we have a range of products that will be fabulous for your look and will protect your eyes!
The Adhesive
Most people aren’t born with deliciously thick, perfectly styled eyelashes. In order to achieve this elevated look we like to use eyelash extensions. All of our eyelash extensions are made with natural fibers and come in a range of weights, styles, thicknesses, and more. Your eyelashes aren’t naturally meant to carry these extensions so we use adhesives to attach them.
Adhesives can be made from a variety of different compounds. Our selection is made from a mixture of Acrylates Copolymer and water. Each recipe is a completely cruelty-free formula that is made with your skin in mind.
Our adhesives are meant to help lashes stay in place for around 7-10 days. This means that the adhesive has to be strong, water-resistant, wind-resistant, and able to withstand debris, sun, and many more conditions that you might encounter in life.

The Potential Issues
There are a few potential issues with using such a strong adhesive. First of all, if you want to take the lashes off to go to work on a Monday morning after only three days of use, the adhesive will be in prime strength. The adhesive will absolutely come off whenever you want but you should definitely use a specialized eyelash remover for it.
Before we get into the lash remover product itself, it is important to know that there are many products out there that contain a laundry list of harmful, synthetic ingredients that you don’t want on your skin. You want to ensure you are protecting your eyes at all costs!
Our Lash Remover
We have developed this fabulous false lash remover that will help to undress your eyes and get them back to their pure, natural state without any damage. It is a coconut oil-based product that is made from natural ingredients and can even help to soothe your eye area while also removing lashes.
How it works is through the coconut oil’s medium-chain triglycerides that help to break down the adhesive. This should help the eyelash to come straight off. If you have any adhesive left over then simply apply more of the remover and it will come off.
Something to note is that you absolutely must do this by wiping in the remover and wiping away the adhesive. If you pull the adhesive off you’re at the risk of pulling off eyelashes. That’s not what we’re here for!
